Parks & Rec is developing a new sports and recreation grounds in Borden. (CLICK HERE for the artist rendition of the plan for the grounds. Note: Plan is subject to change as development progresses). Facilities

The sports grounds facilities are under development. The outdoor rink and concession with bathrooms as well as one partially completed ball field are currently available. At this stage of development the concession and bathrooms are generally locked when not in use, and are not winterized. Please make arrangements with any Parks & Rec member to have them open during your event or family gathering.

Borden Parks and Recreation Board

Board Meets: Village Office
3rd Tuesday of every month, 7:30 p.m.

 

What is the Parks and Recreation Board?
The Board is made up of volunteers from within the community. who donate their time, efforts and ideas to our community’s development as we as its health and wellness.

 

The Parks 'n' Rec Board operates under the umbrella of Village Council and therefore Village Council has at least one representative on the Board. Parks 'n' recreation meetings take place monthly.

 

What do we do?
Parks and Recreation builds and maintains clean, safe and accessible parks, and programs them with recreational, cultural and educational activities for people of all ages.

 

Through its work, Parks and Recreation enriches the lives of Borden's citizens with personal, health and economic benefits.

We promote physical and emotional well being, providing venues for fitness, peaceful respite and making new friends.
