Submit a Business

All businesses operating within the Village of Borden are required to hold a valid business license, unless specifically exempt under the Business Licensing Bylaw. This licensing process helps the Village ensure businesses comply with zoning and building regulations, supports responsible land-use planning, and allows us to maintain accurate records of business activity within the community.

Submitting your business information is required before commencing operations, whether you are opening a new business, renewing an existing license, changing locations, or operating temporarily (such as contractors, mobile vendors, or special events). Once licensed and in good standing, your business may also be listed in the Village’s online business directory at no additional cost.
